Our Star pouch is versatile enough to act as a clutch or keep you organized inside a larger tote or travel bag—truly an all-star style. Each pouch is handwoven from raffia straw and finished with hand-embroidered stars and a raffia tassel accent.

  • Handmade from raffia palm fiber, which is harvested from June to October each year to allow for regrowth before being woven into sheets using a traditional technique of the Bohol region of the Philippines.
  • Fully lined with a single patch pocket at the interior. Features a top zip closure with coordinating raffia tassel.
  • Measures 9" W by 6" H.

Who Made This?

Our bags are carefully handcrafted by women cooperatives in the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia, using indigenous techniques that have been passed down through the generations. We help preserve and promote their unique cultural heritage as well as provide them with a living wage. Read more
